Nursing
scenarios
Our nursing
scenarios (over 100) include patients experiencing a wide variety
of acute and chronic health problems, in both in-patient and out-patient
settings. Available are scenarios covering basic clinical nursing
concepts as well as adult health, maternity, pediatric, psychiatric-mental
health, critical care, and perioperative (OR and PACU) nursing content.
Presented within
a nursing process context, scenarios are case study presentations
within which instruction is provided and nursing knowledge and decision-making
skills are challenged. Extensive graphic images and photos throughout
illustrate and augment content.
A unique blending
of instruction with testing, scenarios feature a variety of question
types, with immediate instructive feedback given for incorrect,
as well as correct, responses. Hints are available for most questions.
All scenarios are scored, and diagnostic information may be viewed
and printed at any time.

Drill
and Practice titles
Our
drill and practice titles provide the repetitive practice
opportunity often needed to master skills and content. Because
a testing component is integral to these titles, they can
also be used to test competencies.
The popular drug
calculation skills title, Nurse ProCalc, generates thousands
of clinically-accurate questions for practice, remediation, and
testing (printed or computer administration). Questions can be
fine-tuned to a variety of clinical areas and dosage categories.
